Job Description

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of insurance related restoration projects by providing direction and coordination of all field activities. The Project Manager is expected to review the estimate of the loss, revise or supplement if necessary via Xactimate 28, manage the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle, secure any unique materials, permits and/or equipment required to complete the project and update the job management system.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Builds effective and efficient teams that delivers quality customer service on a consistent basis.
  • Communicates with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintains the integrity of the company and products offered by complying with federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Contact customer within the same day of being given the claim.
  • Set up an appointment at the loss on the first day possible for the customer.
  • Review the entire estimate at the loss, line by line, and make a complete material list.
  • Review items with customer that require a selection. ALL SELECTIONS ARE TO BE IN WRITING, NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • At the initial meeting, find out all particulars of job.
  • Follow the scope of work completely. If the customer wants to make changes to the scope of work then you MUST document all changes on a written change order and have them sign for it. Even if it is an even trade, any changes to the scope must be in writing and in the file so that we have a paper trail.
  • Break down each job by category and who is to do job and budget cost of each category accordingly with our target profit margin. 
  • Complete the job within the scheduled time and in all cases as quickly as possible and within timelines set by management when applicable.
  • Protects and maintains BRC equipment at all times and does not allowance usage of BRC equipment by any outside party.
  • Completes and submits all required paperwork daily, or at the end of the project whichever is required by management for that job.
  • Provides management with daily project updates consistently.
  • Supports work load surges and/or Catastrophe operations as needed.
  • Wears BRC required attire and marked vehicle.
  • Update all computer systems per company policy.
  • Communicate with adjusters regularly.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active FL Driver’s License.
  • Minimum education level achieved: H.S. graduate.  College education preferred.
  • 3 year relevant experience. Experience in restoration or remodel/rehab work preferred.
  • Ability to climb, kneel, and crawl required; may work in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to walk on a roof.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, up to three hours.
  • Able to operate a camera
  • Able to operate a computer with Microsoft office including word and excel.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Xactimate 28
  • Demonstrated customer service focus / superior customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact on a professional level with internal and external personnel.
  • Results driven with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manages changing priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Team player, ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Must be available for after hour work and weekends.
  • This position is based within an assigned region; travel throughout the region is required with occasional travel to locations beyond the assigned region.
