Position Summary:

  • This position is for an in-house licensed agent that quoted and binds policies
  • Process endorsements on current in force policies
  • Minimum 2+ years multi-lines, property and casualty insurance experience
  • Develop and manage customer relationships and serve as a resource to customers and potential customers on all products and services
  • Accept customer payments
  • Understand, promote and remain current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures
  • Assist with book roll conversions
  • Process comparison quotes vs the competition

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

 

  • Experienced 2-5 years in personal lines insurance with a current 4-40 or 2-20 license
  • Knowledgeable of Florida personal lines insurance policy and coverage
  • Must possess strong written, verbal communication skills and listening skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and problem solving skills
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish a Plus
  • Must be friendly, highly motivated and self-starter_
  • Responsibility will include but not limited to:
    • Quoting and selling insurance product to new clients and existing clients- personal & commercial
    • Service existing policy holder regarding their insurance needs
    • (processing endorsement, payment, cross sell new product and reviewing numerous audits for customer retention)
  • Confident to work with client over the phone and in person.
  • Must be able to respond to all quote requests within a 24 hour time period
